Friendship Avenue started as one parent trying to make a difference for his 11 year old daughter. Weeks before her birthday, she confessed she wanted to cancel her party because, “No one will come, anyway. I don’t have any friends.”

This heartbreaking confession fueled an effort to find kids that were experiencing the same feelings of loneliness and isolation. He was confidant she wasn’t alone, and he was right. In less than a month, hundreds of parents nearby had responded to social media posts proposing the idea of Friendship Avenue.

Friendship Avenue is a Non-profit organization that throws events in the North Texas area for bullied and socially isolated kids to meet up and find friendships. We throw events everyone can have fun at with only 3 rules. Be you. Be Kind. Belong.

Friendship Avenue is a place for School age kids to find friendships, parents to find community and all people to feel accepted and worthy of kindness.
